En Toscane chaque saison se célèbre, chaque saison a ses traditions. L’automne est particulièrement colorée de ce point de vue. C’est le moment de fêter la fin des récoltes en organisant des sagras autour des truffes, champignons et châtaignes, du vin nouveau et de l’huile d’olive fraichement pressée.

Tuscans celebrate the rhythm of the seasons with an array of festivals and feasts adapted for each period of the year. Autumn is particularly colorful as the leaves change and the ordered rows of vineyards are speckled in hues of yellow and red. Fall brings a feast for the eyes as well as a feast for the table; the bounty of the season is enjoyed all over Tuscany at sagras that highlight the foods of the forest. Truffles, mushrooms and chestnuts have starring roles in these home-spun food festivals.
Ende August wurde die Villa Emo Capodilista bei Padua, zirka 45 km von Venedig entfernt, Schauplatz der schönsten Hochzeit, die je in einer “unserer” Villen gefeiert wurde. Giordano Emo Capodilista, Besitzer der Villa und gewöhnlich ohne Hang zum Überschwung, rief mich begeistert an: “Era un sogno… es war wie ein Traum”.
A la fin du mois d'aout la Villa Emo Capodilista, situé près de Padoue à 45 km de Venise, a vu celebrer un des plus beaux mariages jamais tenu dans une de nos villas. Le propriétaire de la villa, Giordano Emo Capodilista, était aux anges: "c'est comme dans un rêve!"

Towards the end of last month Villa Emo Capodilista in the Veneto, about 45 km from Venice, became the backdrop to one of the most beautiful weddings we have had in our villas. Giordano Emo Capodilista the owner of the villa was thrilled: “it was like in a dream…we were all floating”
