Beschreibung

Von weitem wirkt Marsiliana wie eine Burg, doch sobald man es durch das Tor der Anlage betritt, befindet man sich in einem sonnigen, kleinen Weiler. Zu linker Hand befindet sich der Herrensitz, ein charmanter Bau aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Das Haus wurde wie ein „Zwillingsbau“ erbaut. Zwei identische Eingänge, zwei Aufgänge, zwei Wohnzimmer und zwei Küchen. Es war daher sehr einfach den Herrensitz zu separieren und einen Teil als Vermietung anzubieten. Der andere Teil wird weiterhin von den Besitzern bewohnt.
Vor dem Haus befindet sich eine grosse Pergola für Mahlzeiten im Freien. Man speist hier unter dem Plätschern eines Springbrunnes. Der grosse Garten ist in Terassen angelegt und wurde mit Palmen, Orangen-und Olivenbäumen bepflanzt.

Das Dorf Marsiliana ist weniger als 1 km entfernt und somit gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Hier gibt es ein Café, einen kleinen Supermarkt, eine Bank und die Post. Der Strand befindet sich in 14km Entfernung.

Marsiliana……… a culinary dream A Culinary dream for kids and adults…………….. To Sabina, the estate office, and all the staff, Thank you sooo, soooo much for making all this come true. My husband and I wanted to celebrate the childrens birthdays in a very special way, give them the experience of a lifetime, a different one, a special one. Thats how we decided to come to Castello di Marsiliana for one week last fall. The cooking course for kids was organized superbly, Gnocchi di patate was their highets hit, once home they showed the rest of our family just how to mix eggs flower salt and potatoes to get the right italian flavour, sage and olive oil were a discovery. The pizza making has represented a real challenge we all tucked into it like there were no tomorrow, Jasper (age 15) won the contest with a fantastic “pizza quattro stagioni” with all the toppings he could find. Please say thank you to Jolanda who was so patient and efficient with the housekeeping, feeding us every evening on delicious bruschettas, soups and super deserts. Renting a Castle is not simple, and Marsiliana with its hilltop view and all the people working for you have made a dream come true, we shall never forget. Thanks thanks thanks,

We enjoyed two wonderful weeks in the historical rooms of the castle Marsiliana Massimo and would like to say that we felt the stay as very nice and impressive. To live in the castle gave us the feeling, that peoples have lived, have worked and have written history in this marvellous rooms. Yes, we could travel back in time what on the one hand was exciting and in the other hand romantic and thrilling. The ambience, the love of nature, the pleasant rest and the nice pool allowed a restful vacation and also made our 25 wedding anniversary to an unforgettable experience.
