Monte is a 19th century farmhouse set amongst the fields and vineyards
of the wide spreading Castello di Galbino estate. Set at a distance of approx. 500 metres
above the castle, it commands a grand view over the estate.
The location on the border betweenTuscany and Umbria is ideal for
exploring the famous Tuscan landmarks of Arezzo, Siena and Florence as well as
charming hilltop towns such as Cetona and Anghiari. The Umbrian towns of Cortona,
Gubbio, Urbino and Perugia can be visited comfortably over a day.

from Monte is onto gentle rolling hills. The pool
lies at a distance of 50 metres from the house and
is shared with members of the owner's family.

The
living room on the ground floor has a large antique
fireplace and french windows onto the garden.
The house has recently been restored and its setting
in a beautiful wooded valley with chestnuts and holm oaks and the lovely views
are one of the main attractions. The wysteria covered pergola in front of the
kitchen becomes the living room during the summer.
