Overview

Below the remarkable Manor house Torrella stands the former farmhouse of the property - La Casina. The property Torrella dominates a ridge with terraced land to all sides, which means that all the buildings of the estate are on different levels. This guarantees privacy despite the relative closeness.
The house has 3 focal points: the central living room flooded with light from two sides, the loggia with large dining table which links living room and kitchen, and the hexagonal pool, which lies on a terraced lower level of the garden.
The colour scheme of the house is kept in light hues of cream, yellow and pale blue which creates a wonderfully serene atmosphere. The decoration is of understated elegance, the owners have managed to keep a feeling of simplicity, but if you look closer you will see that the furniture is very far from Ikea!
Comfort is guaranteed by the many bathrooms (each bedroom has its own) and by the lovely maid and cook Luana who lives nearby and whom you can ask to come in to prepare the best Tuscan meals ever with lots of vegetables from the estate's own vegetable garden.
The house has 5 bedrooms in the warm season. The large twin bedroom on the lower level has no heating, therefore the number of guests has to be reduced to 8 between mid September and mid May.
