Overview

The house stands on its own, surrounded by olive groves, wheat fields and cypresses, and looks onto the famous cypress road that winds up the 'crete' on the opposite hill.

The living quarters are on the ground floor, with French windows opening out onto the garden and the pergola for meals outside.

From the pool one looks out onto the entire Orcia valley and the ever-present Amiata Mountain. House and garden are exposed to the southwest, and the view over the valley at sunset is unbeatable.

Wonderful location, having a whole valley to look upon without disturbance. Superb pool. We’ve really enjoyed the home-cooked food prepared by the maid. The villa’s location puts us in easy reach of some fabulous Tuscan hill towns.

Our family of five has loved La Foce and spending a glorious week at Fontalgozzo. All aspects have been completely delightful, especially our garden visit.. Our three children adored the pool and bike riding the dirt roads, soccer in the grass by the pool. Mirella’s cuisine is delicious and makes for a relaxing, perfect evening dinner. We plan to return!
