Overview
A charming 300 years old stone farmhouse, lying high up in the Orcia valley, facing south-west with a stunning view over hills of what is considered one of the most unspoilt valleys of Tuscany (listed as Unesco World Heritage). Ringoni is surrounded by woods and olive groves. Here you can take unforgettable walks through 30 acres of private land and further through adjacent woodlands.
The house was carefully restored by the well known designer Ilaria Miani who according to her own words „cherishes a free flow between indoors and outdoors“. The living room with it's handsome fireplace opens to the terrace. The "al fresco" dining area seats 16 people with a built-in barbecue. The extended vine pergola is perfect for drinks at sunset while enjoying the exquisite views of the valley.
There is a well-tended vegetable garden and orchard with seasonal crops available to guests.
By the beautiful swiming pool (12x6 meters) overlooking the Val D'Orcia there is a second pergola and sheltered picnic area with small fridge. The pool is a short walk from the house.
A dinner on the evening of your arrival as well as breakfast, prepared every morning by the maid, are included in the rent. The maid will also clean the house every day. Basic supplies always available for free such as mineral water (sparkling and still), balsamico, various spices, various English teas, Italian roast coffee, paper napkins, paper towel, toilet paper, soap, candles.
