Overview

Rombellana is a large stone farmhouse wich was recently restored to the highest standard by the well known interior designer Ilaria Miani. Breathtaking contemporary design meets traditional materials such as wood and hand hewn stone.
Stone terrazzo floors with under-floor heating, saturated colourings on the walls and measure made contemporary furniture blend in well with the original large rooms and traditional features of the property. High tech equipment such as wifi, hifi stereo system have been added, invisible to the eye. The exceptional kitchen is equipped with a large oven and double sized fridge. Bathrooms are all clad in natural local stone.
On the ground floor the kitchen, dining room, living room and study flow into eachother and open up onto a patio with table and chairs. The upper floor is reached over two outdoor stairs.
The annex (new in 2012) has 3 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms as well as a gym, a bar and small extra kitchen.
Over 10,000 square feet of terraces with pergolas, patios and roofed dining areas surround the villa, and from here guests can enjoy a stupendous, 360 degree view of the surrounding valley. In the garden there is a panoramic heated swimming pool, while on the west side of the villa there is a hot tub overlooking the valley - the ideal place from which to admire an unforgettable view.
The vegetable garden is not only a decorative feature, it also produces the best seasonal produce.
The rent includes breakfast every day prepared by the maid who also cleans the house. She can come in to prepare lunch or dinner on request.
