Overview
Named after the farmer who last lived here, the Casa di Nando is a two-storied house with a private garden, attached to the historical tasting rooms of the estate. The garden is bordered by a hedge and the large table makes an inviting spot for outdoor meals.
The light, airy, whitewashed rooms furnished with charming rural antiques belonging to the family provide a sunny, friendly as well as very comfortable accomodation. The house was fully restored in 2001 and redecorated in 2010.
The pool belonging to the adjacent Montecchia golf club is open to our guests from Tuesday to Sunday. A small above ground pool (4,50m) is available in the garden of la Montecchia.
The closest village - Selvazzano - is at a distance of 3 km. The Italian cuisine can be found at its best in the Veneto region. A list of restaurants of the surrounding area can be found in each of the houses. The restaurant in the adjacent Golf Club was given 1 Michelin star in 2008. Guests of la Montecchia are granted a 20% on the high quality wines produced on the estate.

Guest reviews
We come from Turin and we were really delighted with the quiet and lovely atmosphere of the surroundings. We liked so much the cities we visited ( Venezia, Padova,Vicenze ) , but we liked best the little villages such as Bassano,Marostica, and the „Riviera del Brenta“. Don’t miss a visit to Petrarca’s house in Arquà Petrarca ( Petrarca was a very important Italian poet). Don’t worry if you have problems with road signs! This is part of the „Italian style“ . And we also were sometimes in trouble to find the right way.....ask people, you will always receive kind informations! Enjoy your holidays!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Casa di Nando and La Montecchia. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The Eugenian Hills are breathtaking with one view more stunning than the last. The local restaurants are terrific and the service wonderful. Thank you to all who recommended „Vaccese“ – it was definitely worth it. We also had a fantastic meal at „Ristorante La Montecchia“ – worth every Euro! ( Best to have a babysitter for the kids) Our day trips to Verona and Padua were interesting plus great shopping. Spending late afternoons at the pool was a great way to cool off for all of us – the kids loved it. The wine tasting was great - hope we fit it all into the car! Hope to return in the future. Thank you!

Une très bonne semaine nella „Casa di Nando“ dans un cache très champêtre. Très bon accueil. La province de Padoue est très riche sur le plan historique. Ciao.
