Overview

The elegant farm buildings of the estate date back to the 17th century. What used to be granarys, storerooms and living quarters of the employees have now been turned into comfortable and well-equipped apartments.

The apartments are located within the tower of the main farm building. This entails two flights of stairs. All four are composed of a single studio flooded with light by 2 or 3 large windows, which look out either onto the historical park of the estate or the courtyard articulated by a series of classical columns. Each room consists of a living-dining room with kitchenette and adjoining bathroom. The bedrooms (double or singles, as per request) are located on the mezzanine, with adjoining second WC - except for Silene, which only has one bathroom. The sofa in each apartment can be transformed into two single beds. The apartment has a WIFI internet access.

Most attractive feature of the building is the courtyard with its columns and loggia, and profusion of geraniums and lemon trees in antique terracotta vases. Tables and chairs will invite you to spend some time here, reading-up your guide books while having breakfast or relaxing with a glass of the excellent local red wine after a rewarding day of sight-seeing. Some of the outhouses have been turned into equestrian stables for racehorses. The wine cellar on the other side of the Toretta is now a reception room, which is rented out for weddings or other festivities. Our guests have not been bothered by either, but you should however be aware of the other activities on the premises.

Unser Apartement (Frassanelle – Apartment Torrette Vinca) war wunderschön, bestens ausgestattet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vor allem haben wir uns bei unserer Ankunft sehr über den Wein, das Obst und vor allem das Olivenöl gefreut. Alle Informationen die wir bekommen haben, waren sehr hilfreich, und wir haben alles ohne Probleme gefunden. Den einzigen kleinen Verbesserungsvorschlag, den ich hätte, wäre ein Hinweisschild, wo man sich genau bei der Ankunft melden muß. Es war etwas schwierig, die „Rezeption“ zu finden, da sie sich im 1. Stock befindet und man doch Hemmungen hat, einfach in das Haus zu gehen. Aber auch das ist kein allzu großes Problem, sondern lediglich ein Verbesserungsvorschlag, evtl. einfach als kurzen Hinweis in der Anfahrtsbeschreibung. Vielen Dank für die sehr professionelle Abwicklung. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder auf Sie zurückgreifen, wenn wir das nächste Mal nach Italien fahren.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und alles war bestens vorbereitet. In diesem wunderschönen Ambiente haben wir uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. So wohl, dass wir kein Zeitgefühl mehr hatten und einen Tag länger geblieben waren, was wir ursprünglich ja auch vor hatten. Aber da es nicht möglich war, hatten wir in der Schweiz für den 24. Mai schon ein Hotel gebucht für die Heimfahrt.Zum Glück konnten wir dann in einer "Notunterkunft" die Nacht in Frassanelle verbringen und in der Schweiz waren auch am nächsten Tag noch Betten für uns frei.So etwas ist uns noch nie passiert und es war uns auch sehr peinlich. Aber letztendlich ist es doch ein Beweis, dass wir total abgeschaltet hatten! Herzlichen Dank für ihre Bemühungen, wir können Sie mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen. Viele Grüße
