TENUTA LA FRATTA

Once upon a time, in the heart of Tenuta la Fratta…
One of the beautiful estate’s historic buildings.
The very old Chianina cattle breed, raised since earliest antiquity.
You’ll enjoy strolling around the Tenuta la Fratta.
You’ll find an excellent bistecca Fiorentina at the farm’s shop.
And why not book a table at the estate’s restaurant, La Toraia!

At the junction of Umbria and Tuscany lies the Val di Chiana, a wide fertile valley boasting lovely medieval villages, beautiful rural landscapes and the eponymous Chianina cattle breed, from which the best bistecca Fiorentina is prepared.

The Tenuta la Fratta, in the town of Sinalunga, is definitely worth the detour. This historic estate has been raising Chianina cows since 1934 and won, on this account, many awards and prizes. After strolling among the historic buildings of the Tenuta, make sure to visit the farm’s shop or book a table at the onsite restaurant La Toraia, which keeps a direct sypply chain to markets and restaurants in Florence, Rome and Turin.
