Beschreibung

Die Casa dell'Ambasciatore ist ein alleinstehendes, charmantes Natursteinhaus am Rande des Weilers. Es wird von einem Garten umgeben und bietet einen wundervollen Blick auf die Landschaft und dem Monte Amiata.

Man betritt das Haus über die mit einer Pergola überdachten und mit Tisch und Stühlen ausgestatteten Terrasse, die zu Mahlzeiten im Freien einlädt.

Bestechend ist der 50m2 grosse Wohn- und Essraum mit offener Küche. Fenstertüren auf beiden Seiten des Raumes, ein grosser Kamin, 2 grosszügige Sofas unterstreichen die Dimensionen des Raumes. Der Blick von der Terrasse schweift über Felder und Wälder, mit dem herausragenden Monte Amiata im Hintergrund.

Einige Treppen führen zu den beiden Schlafräumen und Badezimmern hinunter. Beide Schlafzimmer haben eine Fenstertür in den Garten und können auf Wunsch mit Doppelbett oder 2 getrennten Einzelbetten reserviert werden. Eines der Badezimmer ist mit einer hochmodernen Whirlpoolwanne ausgestattet.

Das Schwimmbad liegt 150 Meter vom Haus entfernt.

We had the most wonderful time at Vivo d'Orcia. It was all peace and beauty, and I would urge anyone who wants to see the 'real' Tuscany to go there. It is very isolated, and so not suitable to everyone's taste. You need to have some adventure in your soul to go there! The Casa dell'Ambasciatore is beautifully restored to a very high level. It has everything one needs for comfort, and the meal we had ordered was one of the best we have ever tasted. Jonathon Radford, the head gardener at Vivo was there to help with any questions or issues and is a wonderful asset to the visitor. Thank you so much for helping us with this holiday. Dear Trust and Travel I just wanted to write and tell you what a wonderful time we had at Vivo D'Orcia. My wife says it was the best holiday she has ever had. From the moment we arrived, it met - and exceeded - our high expectations. The house and location are beautiful, it was clean and well-stocked with food for us, and all the arrangements for our late arrival went very smoothly. We were very impressed with the way your company handled the booking, and all communications were very comprehensive and clear. Put us down as two very satisfied customers. The only glitch - and it was our fault - was that we had to make several trips to the bank because we hadn't noticed the warning that they only take cash. I know it was on one of the briefing sheets you sent, but we missed it. Jonathan - who looked after us at Vivo D'Orcia - said other clients had also arrived under the misunderstanding about credit cards being acceptable. My only suggestion for an improvement would be to put the 'cash only' message in bold type on all correspondence. We have wonderful memories, wonderful photographs - and we are already talking about returning to Vivo d'Orcia. When we do, it will certainly be with your company. Thanks to all your staff for helping make our trip so memorable.

Guten Tag Frau Trautmannsdorff, Die Unterkunft in der Toscana war in einem guten Zustand. Der „Betreuer“ ist immer erreichbar gewesen. Beschreibung, also Prospekt angaben, stimmten mit der Realität überein. Das Haus wurde in einem sauberen, guten Zustand übergeben. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. In den ersten Tagen fehlten 2 Liegestühle die aber dann gestellt wurden. Wir hatten nur ein Problem: am Anreisetag fand ein 24stündiges Mountainbike rennen statt. Die Anfahrt vom Ortskern war total blockiert. Nur mit Hilfe einer netten Italienerin wurden wir dann mit erheblichen Aufwand durch Organisationshelfer durchgelassen. Es wäre zu überlegen ob solche Veranstaltungen den Mietern im voraus zur Kenntnis gegeben werden bzw. die Organisatoren müssen über Anreisende informiert werden. Mit freundlichem Gruß Dieter

Une semaine trop vite passée dans un cadre somptueux, la nature, le soleil et surtout le calme qui nous fait un bien fou! Nous sommes partis avec la société Trust and Travel en Aout 2008 et gardons un excellent souvenir de ces vacances, tant point de vue organisation avant notre départ qu'une fois sur place, la maison louée correspondait exactement aux photos présentées sur le site, même mieux! Nous sommes partis à 4 dont deux enfants de 8 et 10 ans, tout s'est très bien passé, nous avons étés très bien entourés, il s'agissait pour nous d'une première expérience de réservation via internet et nous pensons certainement refaire un voyage avec Trust and Travel prochainement, nous conseillons leur société sans hésitation.
