OVERVIEW Palazzetto
The villa looks onto the main street of the historical village Barberino Val d’Elsa (which is very quiet as it has been closed to traffic) to one side and onto the open landscape to the other side. A small jewel of Renaissance architecture, it was built in the traditional alberese stone with architectural features typical of the Tuscan understated elegance.
The main entrance to the house – a large wooden double door with a Renaissance stone cornice – leads into a courtyard, which again opens onto a large terrace with a pergola for meals outside.
From the terrace few steps lead to the garden, the pool and the open countryside. The view and the sunsets to be seen from here, as well as from all windows looking out to the back of the house, are magnificent – the famous Chianti hills with vineyards and olive groves and the towers of San Gimignano in the backdrop.
The house was given an important facelift in 2018: new kitchen and new bathrooms, as well as new beds, upholstery and painting. Family antiques, books, terracotta flooring, exposed beams and Mediterranean colourings create an elegant and welcoming atmosphere.

GUEST REVIEWS, Palazzetto, Barberino
This was our 8th time renting Palazzetto and as always it was wonderful. The villa is always clean and the view from the terrace is spectacular. We love the location in the middle of Barberino Val d'elsa within walking distance to several restaurants. Adriana, the villa manager, is always available and she is a wonderful cook.

Dear Signora Corsini, We wanted to come to Tuscany to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday, and we wanted to share the event with close friends and family. We looked on the Internet for a place large enough to accommodate all 11 of us and were pleased when we found your house. But we had no idea how spectacularly beautiful the Palazzo would be. It has surpassed our expectations in every way and Dina and Adriana have been welcoming and extremely helpful. Thank you so much for opening your house to us it has been the most wonderful vacation of our life. We won't hesitate to recommend it to others and we're already planning to return in the future!

Dear Mrs Corsini,
We stayed one week at the Palazzetto in Barberino. The villa was wonderful and the service from Dina and Adriana was superb. The meal Dina prepared on Monday evening was wonderful. This is our third visit to the villa and we look forward to future holidays here.
